THE FOUNDER

I’m Ryan, a Father, Brother, Son, and first responder with over 26 years of combined experience in the Infantry, Correctional Services, National Security, and Policing. I built TRF-2190 because I hit the wall and didn’t even know it. I get what it’s like to sit in the driveway after a brutal shift, staring at the steering wheel, completely empty, dreading walking through my own front door. I’ve carried the ghosts of bad calls, the weight of family responsibility, and the toxic cynicism that slowly poisons the way you look at the world.
When my wheels fell off, I looked around for a lifeline. What I found was the traditional mental health system doesn't always speak our language. To be fair, I could never find the words myself. The culture of our job actively works against us. Admitting you are struggling is still quietly viewed as a liability. So, we don't talk. We stuff the friction down, self-medicate, and isolate until the pressure bursts.
TRF-2190 is not a diary; it's a lifeline to proactively preserve your health and your homefront. The tools in this system helped me get back on my feet. I'm grateful for the opportunity to share my experience and support first responders and their families.
HOW IT WORKS
TRF-2190 is a structured, 90-shift harm reduction system designed specifically to combat the compounding friction of front-line service. Rather than relying on reactive measures, this protocol treats human performance as measurable intelligence, combining analog reflection with digital tracking to identify early indicators of burnout and maintain operational and homefront readiness.
The Analog Bunker: Throughout the cycle, the physical TRF-2190 Journal serves as your debrief. It forces you to disconnect, put pen to paper, and organize your operational reality.
The Digital Radar: The TRF-2190 app tracks your relational, physical, and cognitive baselines. Initially leveraging global first-responder research, AI analytics provides evidence-based recovery insights tailored to you and your operating theatre. As the network grows, it transitions to precision benchmarking, anonymously cross-referencing your stress and recovery patterns against peer demographics within your operational community.
The foundation of the protocol breaks the 90-shift cycle into three evolving objectives:
Phase 1: ADJUST – Establishes your operational baseline, forcing you to confront current habits and systematically offload daily friction.
Phase 2: ENGAGE – Focuses on active calibration, training you to recognize pattern shifts in your behaviour, stress responses, and bandwidth.
Phase 3: INTEGRATION – Locks in fortification, turning these daily tracking and recovery tactics into permanent, hardened resilience.

Complementing the physical record is the Secure Operator Portal. Accessed via the unique code inside the TRF-2190 physical journal, this encrypted digital checkpoint is where you log core intel metrics (Sleep, Diet, Hydration, Mood, Stress) and C.A.T.s (Counter Activation Tactics) compliance after every TOUR.
The system maps these inputs across Three Operational Zones to provide frictionless visual feedback and intermittent sitreps on your functional capacity:
Zone 1: HOMEFRONT & RELATIONAL ENGAGEMENT: Your tactical ability to leave shift friction at the door and maintain healthy, present connections with your family.
Zone 2: PHYSIOLOGICAL REGULATION: The critical physical recovery metrics—primarily sleep and hydration—required to repair your nervous system and rebuild your body.
Zone 3: COGNITIVE & EMOTIONAL BANDWIDTH: Your remaining mental resilience and emotional flexibility to process cumulative stress and execute high-stakes decisions.
The Tactical Advantage: This immediate visual radar eliminates guesswork. It instantly highlights whether you are operating optimally or drifting toward redline, allowing you to verify the real-time effectiveness of your counter-tactics and intercept friction before it turns into systemic failure.
